Description
Deftones' Around the Fur is the band's explosive second album, expanding on Adrenaline with darker textures and a sharper sonic edge. Chino Moreno's urgent, dynamic vocals ride a muscular guitar assault from Stephen Carpenter, with standout tracks like My Own Summer (Shove It) and Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away), and a guest appearance by Max Cavalera on Head Up. Originally issued in 1997 by Maverick, this vinyl edition brings the album's raw energy to listeners in a high-fidelity format. The record remains a defining milestone in late-90s metal, blending aggressive drive with moody atmosphere that helped propel Deftones to broader acclaim.
