Books in Like New Condition

This book may contain very minor cosmetic defects, but it is in pristine condition. There should be no yellowing, no foxing, no water damage, and no annotations of any kind on the cover and the pages. For paperbacks, there should not be any crease marks on the spine. This book is good as new — lucky you!

Aubrey Beardsley died in 1898 at the age of twenty-five. Although his active career as a draughtsman lasted only five years he established, in that brief period, the graphic style of the age of Oscard Wilde and "The Yellow Book".

Binding of book is tight. Slight wear and tear on covers of book. Some foxing and creasing on spine. Tanning and foxing around edges, in particular on top edge of book. Some foxing on first and final pages of book. Otherwise pages in clean and good condition. Tanning around margins of inserts, to different extents.
