Description

Chronophage's self-titled third LP, released by Post Present Medium in the US with Bruit Direct Disques handling Europe, delivers ten tracks of poised, melodic post-punk flavored by vintage power-pop. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Chronophage blends inviting melodies with intricate arrangements that sit between Big Star's jangly pop and Eighties post-punk sensibilities. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Craig Ross, the album emphasizes clarity and emotional directness while preserving the band's adventurous, risk-taking spirit. This third LP marks a confident step in Chronophage's DIY trajectory, earning praise for its precise, decisive songs and fearless approach.
