Description

Plan Dropshot was the United States' plan for world war with the Soviet Union. It was prepared by a committee of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1949 with the authority and knowledge of President Harry S Truman. The chairman of the Joint Chiefs was General of the Army Omar N. Bradley, and “Dropshot's” basis was that atomic war would break out on 1 January 1957.

Published 1978, First Edition.

Binding of book is intact. Some shelfwear, fraying, creasing and foxing on dust jacket, Tear on spine and back cover of dust jacket. Slight shelfwear on covers of book. Very little tanning and foxing on edges of book. Very little foxing on endpapers. Very little foxing on certain pages, otherwise in good condition.
