Description

Dan Auerbach's Keep It Hid, originally released in 2009 as his debut solo album, showcases his move toward a more intimate, self-contained recording approach. This 2023 Easy Eye Sound reissue on tiger eye orange and black marble vinyl restores the album with new artwork, featuring blues-rock, garage grit and bluegrass-tinged soul. Highlights include Trouble Weighs A Ton, I Want Some More, and Heartbroken, In Disrepair, demonstrating Auerbach's multi-instrumental scope and strong songcraft that foreshadowed his later work.
