The History of Mr. Polly
The History of Mr. Polly

Comically crafted Edwardian everyman's unintended heroism.

If you enjoy the idea of rooting for the underdog who stumbles through life with a mix of luck and ineptitude, "The History of Mr. Polly" could be quite delightful for you. H.G. Wells masterfully blends humor and social commentary, inviting you to follow Mr. Polly's absurd yet endearing escapades. His unique use of language and the situationally comedic narrative make the eccentric Mr. Polly an unexpectedly lovable character in his quest for serenity.
