The tales of The Silmarillion are set in an age when Morgoth, the first Dark Lord, dwelt in Middle-earth, and the High Elves made war upon him for the recovery of the Silmarils.

Binding of book is slightly intact. Encased in plastic sleeve. Some tearing, creasing, slight fraying and a stain on plastic sleeve. Sticker on back cover. Sight foxing on covers of book. Heavy tanning on top edge of book. Some tanning and foxing on edges of book. Some foxing and slight tearing on insides of covers. Moderate waterstain damage on top edge of inside of back cover. Moderate foxing on certain pages.
